Duo Sharon Chan and Charles Kwong

Sharon Chan and Charles Kwong are a Zurich-based transdisciplinary artist duo from Hong Kong, bringing together a constellation of artistic backgrounds spanning music, sound art, theatre, dramaturgy and curatorial practice in the performing arts, and both academic and artistic research. Their performances often centre on rituals of movement, space, acoustics, ceramics, feedback, a theremin, and everything in between.

Each performance is both rehearsal and encounter, and is an unfolding process of attention, dialogue, and discovery in the space. Through this shared practice, the duo seeks to uncover new ways of hearing and being present together in sound and movement.
